Retreat Terms & Conditions
These terms and conditions govern the sales for all Fountain of Qi retreats (the “Event,”) held by Nicole Timmerman of Fountain of Qi (Fountain of Qi LLC; the “Company.”)
Booking & Payment
We reserve the right to change the trip inclusions/itinerary as required.
It is your responsibility to check the payment dates and ensure that your payments have been made in accordance with the payment installment plan. Failure to pay an installment by the correct date will mean Fountain of Qi LLC will have the right to cancel the booking with no refund and pursue legal action if need be to collect outstanding payments. If you prefer, you can pay the entire balance in a lump sum prior to the deadline to avoid this situation. If you require an extension you can request one in writing to Fountain of Qi LLC by emailing coleetimmerman@gmail.com. If the extension is granted we will confirm in writing by email & there will be a late fee of $50.
Your spot will not be confirmed until you have made your payment through Venmo, PayPal, or Stripe. We will process sign ups in the order in which we receive the payments.
Your payment is non refundable however it is transferable, and can be used on a future trip if you need to cancel or transferred to another traveler who you will be responsible for referring up to 30 days before the event. Inside of 30 days before the event the payment is non refundable/non transferable.
Cancellation
Cancellation must be received in writing via email to coleetimmerman@gmail.com. If we do not respond to your cancellation, then it has not been processed, so please follow up within 72hrs if confirmation isn’t received.
The charges for cancellation are as follows based on the value of your booking:
From the booking date up to 30 days before event date: Your trip value can be transferred to any other event or person within 1 year.
Between 30 days and event date: 100% of trip value is forfeited as a cancellation fee.
If you are unable to attend the trip you can transfer your spot to another person to avoid cancellation fees. You must inform Fountain of Qi LLC of the change in writing to make the name change. If there is a waitlist for the trip, we will put the next available person on the list into your spot and refund you your total payments.
Payment Schedule
At Booking: Payment is required to secure your spot. Unless otherwise specified in writing from a team member of Fountain of Qi LLC.
All payments are due before the start of the event. Within 30 days all spots must be paid in full even if you need to cancel for any reason prior to trip start date.
Other
Fountain of Qi LLC does not sell travel insurance; however, you must buy travel insurance before going on your trip as Fountain of Qi is not responsible for any potential injuries.
Image Collection
Fountain of Qi LLC may collect still and video images of you during the course of your trip for advertising and promotional purposes. By booking through Fountain of Qi LLC, you agree that such images may be collected and used by Fountain of Qi LLC however Fountain of Qi LLC sees fit, including (but not limited to) commercial use and sale of the images. The images may be cropped, altered, combined or otherwise edited. You also agree that Fountain of Qi LLC will retain ownership of all rights in connection with such images. If you do not wish to be on camera/ video then bring this to the attention of Fountain of Qi LLC by sending an email to coleetimmerman@gmail.com before the commencement of your trip. This should include the name and contact details of the person who does not wish to be photographed or videoed along with your booking number and contact details.
Liability and Waver Release Form
By purchasing a spot at a retreat you agree that; my heirs, personal representative or assigns, do hereby release, waive, discharge, and covenant not to sue Fountain of Qi, it’s trustees, directors, officers, employees and agents from liability from any and all claims including any negligence that results in personal injury, accidents, or illnesses (including death) and property loss arising from use of premises and activities during the duration of the event.
